Specific Responsibilities
The Organizational Effectiveness Analyst II supports a portfolio of enterprise talent, leadership, learning, performance, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. The role converts ambiguous business needs into well-managed workplans, clear communications, practical tools, and executive-ready materials. This is a business-facing project delivery role. Prior experience with project management, stakeholder management, written communication, analytical judgment, and the ability to produce polished work products for leaders.
- In partnership with project managers, manage multiple initiatives from planning through implementation: define scope, milestones, owners, risks, decisions, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
- Partner with leaders, HR Business Partners, subject-matter experts, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather input, align expectations, and move work forward.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, briefing materials, meeting agendas, decision documents, job aids, and written communications tailored to executive, leader, and employee audiences.
- Coordinate and support working sessions, leadership reviews, learning events, talent discussions, and change-related engagements; capture decisions and convert them into clear actions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including defining requirements, evaluating proposals, coordinating program design and delivery, and ensuring solutions align with business needs, budgets, and internal processes.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative information, identify patterns and implications, and develop concise recommendations and practical deliverables.
- Build and maintain project plans, status reporting, dashboards, templates, shared sites, and other tools that improve visibility, consistency, and execution.
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of talent, leadership, learning, performance, succession, and organizational effectiveness processes as priorities require.
- Develop communications and adoption plans for new programs, processes, or systems; monitor feedback, participation, and effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Apply sound judgment, attention to detail, and discretion when handling sensitive employee, leadership, and business information.
- Build working knowledge of Apache’s business, operating environment, and key stakeholder needs.
Skills
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to support research, analysis, content development, communication and productivity.
- Demonstrated project management discipline: able to organize complex work, manage competing priorities, anticipate risks, and deliver reliably with limited direction.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including the ability to work credibly with senior leaders and diverse cross-functional groups.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages and work products to different audiences.
- Advanced PowerPoint capability and strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, Power BI, and SharePoint; able to create visually clear, concise, and executive-ready materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; can synthesize information, identify themes, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- High standards for quality, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve, and several initiatives move in parallel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with maturity and sound judgment.
- Experience with organizational development, talent management, learning, change management, consulting, or business improvement is beneficial but not required.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Analytics, or related fields. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in project management, business operations, consulting, communications, organizational effectiveness, change management, talent or learning programs, or a comparable analytical and stakeholder-facing role.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality presentations, reports, and communications for senior leaders or complex stakeholder groups.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects, workshops, or initiatives with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Oil and gas or other complex operational industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Project management, change management, facilitation, or related certifications are beneficial but not required.
