Position Description & Duties:

The Organizational Change Management Analyst for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s IT organization at the company’s Houston, Texas office reporting to the Manager, IT Strategy.

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Support the rollout of change management initiatives to maximize employee engagement and minimize disruption to the business;
  • Assist with stakeholder management and engagement activities including coaching and resistance management;
  • Assist in the development of change strategies including communication and training plans, OCM roadmaps, measurement, and sustainment plan;
  • Review and draft OCM artifacts and communications in support of change initiatives
  • Track and maintain change management metrics;
  • Assist with assessing the priority and impact of changes including impacts to business processes, systems and technology and people (job roles and organization);
  • Support the coordination and planning of change related functions in support of IT and the business; and
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred & Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 3-5 years experience using change management principles and methodologies;
  • Understanding of project management approaches, tools and project lifecycle phases; and the integration of change management activities into the project plan;
  • Experience in developing change management plans/tools, including stakeholder; analysis, communication, and training plans; 
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint;
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Detail oriented, proactive, and highly organized;
  • Capable of taking innovative approaches to problem solving; 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments;
  • Customer-service oriented; and
  • Strong, positive interpersonal skills.
