Specific Responsibilities
Apache Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Data & Reporting Senior Analyst in our Houston office. This role will execute on the organization's Global Supply Chain operations in one of the main Global Strategies & Governance areas (Source to Pay, Systems, Cost Control, Supplier Qualification, Governance Analysis, and/or Global Categories Strategy & Sourcing).
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Track and Analyze Metrics:
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collect data from various sources and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Generate regular reports to communicate findings to stakeholders and recommend actionable insights.
- Special Projects:
- Lead and manage special projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Supply Market Review:
- Conduct market research to gather information on industry trends, macroeconomic impacts, and supplier/peer data.
- Analyze market data to identify sourcing and cost reduction opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive market intelligence reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvements and Efficiencies:
- Evaluate existing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Monitor the impact of process changes and continuously seek opportunities for further optimization.
- Manage the Approved Supplier List:
- Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Streamline and apply continuous improvement on the ASL.
- Collaborate with other Supply Chain team members to resolve issues as needed.
- Work Cross-Departmentally:
- Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across different departments to achieve common goals.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborate on initiatives that require input from multiple teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Assess situation/problems and create/lead strategies with minimal guidance.
- Coaching/reviewing the work of contractors, if applicable.

Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Works independetly, with some supervision or guidance from a strategic standpoint
- Can handle more complex projects and problems
- Engages with key stakeholders and can work cross-functionally to root causes issues
- Ability to learn quickly & pivot when needed
- Advanced knowledge of SAP / Ariba / ERP systems used by company
- Actively seeks additional work and/or development opportunities
- Ability to present to senior management under guidance of manager
- Advanced Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years' Supply Chain or equivalent experience
