Specific Responsibilities

The Senior Risk Analyst will collaborate with the Insurance and Risk Director to promote and implement the risk management program for the Company.  This role also involves crafting presentations, reporting metrics and ad hoc projects in accordance with corporate objectives. Additionally, the Senior Risk Analyst will work with various other departments and communicate risk management programs and philosophies effectively to key stakeholders.  

 

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

 

•    Assist in the development of insurance marketing strategies in domestic and international markets
•    Assist in evaluating responses obtained from insurance markets and preparing materials for recommendations to senior management
•    Collect and manage historical exposure information and prepare annual underwriting submissions on a timely basis.
•    Assist with review of insurance terms and applicable indemnity language in contracts
•    Prepare total cost of risk and other analytical reports
•    Monitor and verify financial condition of insurers and aggregate limit exposure 
•    Review terms and conditions of insurance policies to ensure negotiated terms and conditions
•    Prepare annual insurance budget and allocation
•    Additional responsibilities as assigned 

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:    

 

•    Bachelor’s degree preferably in risk management, accounting or related field 
•    5+ years’ experience in corporate risk management or insurance brokerage firm
•    Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency with interacting at all levels of the company and outside vendors
•    Successfully work on multiple projects and activities simultaneously 
•    Self-motivated and organized
