Specific Responsibilities
The Organizational Development Advisor plays a critical role in enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee development at Apache. This position involves supporting various learning and development strategies and initiatives to align employee performance with organizational goals while providing rewarding career opportunities and professional growth and development for our employees. This position is designed for individuals who have extensive experience in the Organizational Development function and are looking to further grow and expand their career in HR. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of Learning and Development principles, and the ability to assist with the implementation of innovative solutions that drive organizational success.
- Learning and Development:
- Develop Learning strategy with Technical/Functional Leaders with clear deliverables to support 70-20-10 framework.
- Research programs and make recommendations regarding learning and development programs for all employees that align with role-specific core, leadership, and technical competencies.
- Assists in the oversight and administration of L&D programs in the HRIS system.
- Track and manage training budget.
- Technical Training Programs:
- Assists in the oversight and administration of trainings and programs including coordination of logistics, communication with facilitators, room setup, communication with participants, and general coordination and follow up activities.
- Projects:
- Lead assigned Organizational Development projects and initiatives aimed at improving organizational culture, employee satisfaction, and alignment of Organizational Development processes to HR best practices.
- Assessments:
- Review data for talent and competence assessments across the organization to support learning strategy
- Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives by providing analysis, feedback and recommendations to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or systems.
- Lead the development of change management plans and preparation of materials needed to successfully execute the change management plan.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to employee performance, engagement and development.
- Translates data into actionable insights that inform recommendations and data-driven decisions for program optimizations.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Mentorship:
- Provides mentorship and guidance to more junior level analysts by sharing their extensive experience and experiences to help inform optimizations to processes and systems.
Qualifications & Experience
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with other team members and stakeholders across the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert level knowledge of organizational development principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to report and analyze data with attention to detail.
- Extensive expertise in HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in HR, preferably in Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related field, and preferably in a senior level analytical or advisory role.
- Experience with data analysis, generation and preparation of reports, and development of presentation materials.
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
- Oil & gas experience preferred.
Certifications:
- Higher level HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR/GPHR strongly preferred.
- Certified Organizational Development Professional (CODP) preferred, but not required.
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) preferred, but not required.
