Specific Responsibilities

Apache Information Technology is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as an Organizational Change Management Lead. The Lead will support the design and implementation of change strategies and plans to engage and motivate people to adopt transformation efforts. In addition to supporting project efforts the successful candidate will be a key contributor to the to the evolution of the change management office.

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Provide change management guidance and oversight to project teams to optimize consistency, delivery and integration of operational and enterprise changes
  • Support the change management office to continuously improve/refresh its methodologies, tools and resources 
  • Lead change management activities on strategic efforts to maximize employee engagement and adoption through the development and implementation of change management tools and processes
  • Create engaging content including infographics, presentations, training videos to help users along their change journey
  • Identify impact and adoption risks; recommend mitigation strategies to the sponsor/project team
  • Advance the change management discipline by developing and conducting training, provide coaching on change and resistance management to the business areas and suggest/following up on process improvements 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, driving development and adoption of change management practice
  • Establish direction by partnering with business sponsors, stakeholders and project team members to facilitate development of the change plan to include assessing the size of the change, identifying impacted audiences and planning for successful adoption of the change
  • Oversee the release of communications for multiple change efforts across the enterprise 
  • Conduct assessments, evaluate results and effectively present findings to senior leadership
  • Utilize Organizational Change Management strategies to lead the people side of change
  • Apply working knowledge of the change management discipline, tools and deliverables and serve as a resource to less experienced team members on escalated issues of a routine nature
  • Identify potential people-related risks and anticipate resistance, along with the ability to develop a plan of action to resolve
  • Develop and integrate organizational change management activities into project and initiative plans

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience, including experience in change management principles and methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience in lead role for Organizational Change Management or Communications preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization is critical
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to work with senior leaders
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
  • Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively and professionally navigate tough situations
  • Ability to identify need for and develop standards and supporting materials  
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Adobe Captivate and MS SharePoint
