Position Description & Duties:

The Land and Contracts Senior Analyst for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Land Data Management team, reporting to the Land and Contracts Supervisor.

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Review, analyze, verify and evaluate leases, contracts, and related documentation;
  • Set-up, approve and maintain essential land and contract data in Quorum Land System (QLS) with proper interfaces for payment and obligation compliance;
  • Perform monthly review of lease and contract payments, obligations, and expirations and update records in QLS accordingly;
  • Build and/or retrieve system reports;
  • Assist Asset Landman in researching shut-in, CDC, and pugh situations;
  • Assist with Acquisition & Divestiture projects and process ownership transfers as needed;
  • Assist with well payout reviews;
  • Process Operated and Non-Operated AFEs (partner balloting, election tracking);
  • Administer payment requests and initiate new agreements using Quorum Land Acquisition (QLA);
  • Initiate Electronic Property Memorandums at direction of Landman
  • Research via Enverus, IHS, and state regulatory websites; and,
  • Work with GIS team to resolve mapping issues.

Preferred & Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience in the capacity described; 
  • Demonstrated understanding of ownership and title issues;
  • Strong ability to analyze leases, contracts and associated data; 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimum supervision;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; and,
  • Quorum experience a plus.
