Specific Responsibilities

Land Administration employees are responsible for data entry and maintenance of land related records and information. Attention to detail, quality control and data integrity are key components of land administration activities. Job responsibilities include document analysis; critical thinking and issue resolution; gathering, organizing and retrieving documents and data; and ability to work multiple projects simultaneously. Adherence to company processes and procedures is required. 

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Analyze and evaluate land records/documents to ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper record/document interpretation for classification/cross-referencing, and storing within Document Management System.
  • Understand land document workflow including interpretation, capture, processing, distribution, and search/retrieval.
  • Data entry and analysis.
  • Process incoming set-up and change requests.
  • Perform routine tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Run pre-built reports using internal land reporting system.
  • Develop, analyze, and monitor record/document audits, reports, and statistics, and act on inconsistencies.
  • Able to effectively and professionally communicate with team members, landowners, and third-party vendors.
  • Perform research using third-party data resources and state regulatory websites.

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least one (1) year of prior experience preferred
  • Computer skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills 
  • Land document knowledge
  • Excellent analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed – ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimum/no supervision 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and a desire to achieve results
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and willingness to go above and beyond 
  • Aptitude for technology – eagerness to explore/question data 
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
