Specific Responsibilities
Experienced individual in audit or related field adept at hosting joint venture audits performed by non-operators. Proven track record in analyzing and understanding audit exceptions and other claims, responding timely to information requests and audit reports, providing recommendations, and maintaining high standards of accuracy. Has strong analytical and communication skills for effective collaboration across the organization and with external parties. May assist performing joint venture non-operated audits as well as performing special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.

6+ years’ experience within the oil and gas industry with joint venture audit or expenditure accounting experience.

5+ years of Joint Venture audit hosting a plus

Oil and gas experience as well as a comprehensive understanding of the industry and COPAS Accounting Guidelines and Model Form Interpretations is required.

Working knowledge of accounting for oilfield operations is required

Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for addressing reporting findings and collaborating with other departments.

Ability to influence and gain trust with both internal and external stakeholders, by being a knowledgeable and confident individual.

Proven strong aptitude for problem solving and root cause analysis.

Demonstrated experience in providing timely, high-quality, and insightful data analytics and reporting, supported by a strong understanding of the business concepts behind the data.

Strong teamwork orientation, with the ability to work and manage projects independently.

Experience with SAP and Ariba are preferred.
