Position Description & Duties

Infrastructure Analyst, End User Computing for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s IT Infrastructure Team at the company’s Houston office reporting to the Manager, End User Computing.

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate with members and leaders of the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Operations teams to design & implement configuration changes;
  • Support identity services configuration and integrations with all cloud providers;
  • Establish and maintains regular written and in-person communications with stakeholders, department heads, the Service Desk & end-users regarding pertinent activities;
  • Manage and support the integration of modern enterprise applications and services into the global M365 Environment;
  • Configuration & support of the existing email security solution and its integrations into the M365 environment;
  • Maintain policies & procedures in the M365 environment while supporting appropriate change management processes;
  • Serve as an escalation resource for the IT Service desk to assist with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of incidents;
  • Providing configuration and support of various M365 integrated applications and services including supporting single sign-on configurations using AD Federation Services and other approved identity service integrations;
  • Providing material support and configuration changes to M365 services and applications such as Azure integrated applications and services;
  • Using established skills and experience in supporting, maintaining, and configuring M365 services, support, configure and administer the services and solutions integrated into the enterprise M365 environment;
  • Provide configuration and support of existing hybrid Exchange environment and its future migration efforts to a fully integrated Exchange Online solution;
  • Working with other Infrastructure teams, make configuration changes to supported systems using approved change management processes;
  • Follow industry standard best practices for assigned technologies; and
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communication with IT leaders, stakeholders and application and service owners, providing support and guidance as required.

Preferred Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor of Science with a major in Information Technology or equivalent on-the-job experience required;
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting services such as DNS, AD Connect and Active Directory Federation Services, including support activities such as log analysis & troubleshooting;
  • Experience designing, supporting, maintaining, and coordinating Microsoft 365 technologies including, but not limited to Office 365, Azure, and Windows;
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting services such as DNS, Active Directory and AD Connect;
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting M365 integrations with enterprise and cloud services;
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerShell to configure and administer, Exchange, Microsoft Teams and other M365 services;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Microsoft M365 or Azure Certified preferred.
