Specific Responsibilities

Manage a set of Joint Interest Billing (JIB) customer’s including analyzing and reconciling customer accounts, providing monthly updates to management on balances, monitoring to ensure timely payment, manage cash calls and cash receipts to be applied.

Utilize GetPaid software to monitor accounts, send collection letters, run weekly aging report, and log problems.

Respond to inquiries and disputes – perform analysis, work with Capital, LOE, Land Data Management, Operations, Legal, and other departments when necessary to formulate a response to partners.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Assist with projects as needed including but not limited to system testing, audits, legal requests, and quarterly related party requests.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, other field of study may be considered when combined with a minimum of 12 completed accounting hours.

Entry level to 3+ years of general accounting or auditing experience preferably in the oil and gas industry.

Knowledge of accounting and oil & gas industry terminology, a plus

Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Knowledge and experience with SAP, GetPaid, and EnergyLink, preferred but not required.
