Specific Responsibilities
The HRIS Analyst Sr, or Senior HRIS Analyst, is responsible for managing and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) within an organization. They analyze HR data, develop reports and dashboards, troubleshoot system issues, and provide support for HRIS users. They collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and deliver training to HR staff on system usage. Additionally, they may be involved in HRIS project management, including system implementations and integrations.
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Supporting HR, including payroll, compensation, and benefits clients, by partnering with them to find solutions to new business needs, make improvements to existing processes, and translate this information into technical specifications for IT development and/or configuration;
- Serving as the SuccessFactors SME, including assisting with implementation processes and standards for SuccessFactors and identifying opportunities for improvement and customization needs;
- Participating in a SuccessFactors implementation project by gathering and documenting business requirements, preparing data for conversion, testing development, and training users;
- Analyzing HR systems by researching and identifying root causes of data problems for accurate ongoing administration of HR systems and reports;
- Periodically auditing HRIS data to ensure conformance with company policies as well as internal work requirements;
- Participating in optimizing system configuration for maximum data and user efficiency, including establishing links between HRIS data and other systems;
- Supporting the development, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs (base salary, short-term incentives and long-term incentives), and developing processes to ensure smooth and timely implementation; and
- Developing and preparing statistical summaries and reports from SAP and other HR systems.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS (or a related field) or equivalent experience.

- A minimum of 6+ years of experience with HRIS and related systems, including a strong background with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with SAP HCM modules, including OM, PA, ESS, and MSS.
- Experience with SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Compensation, Learning, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition and Succession and Development.
- Experience troubleshooting SuccessFactors issues post-implementation (preferred).
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications (preferred, not required).
