Specific Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Overall administration of the EHS data management system. Create, maintain and distribute EHS performance statistics and analyses. Maintain the incident management process. Through trending and analyses, identify areas of improvement within KPC’s EHS management system, programs and training to support compliance efforts in line with Egyptian HSE regulations, accepted industry norms and KPC’s management system requirements. Provide direct support to the Senior Manager EH&S.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support with data entry of all incidents and near misses into the EHS data management system
• Provide necessary training support for the Apache Deputy Field EHS Managers, as well as joint venture counterparts, on how to use the EHS data master tracker accurately and enter required information.
• Review, reconcile and verify that audits/inspections/PSSRs, trainings, drills, safety observations, speed violations information are managed across all operations.
• Audit data records and follow up with Deputy EHS Field Managers to obtain all safety related information (incident reports, audits, training, drills information, etc.)
• Compile and maintain manhours and vehicle mileage data/reports from across the JV for incident rates calculations and auditing purposes.
• Actively measure and analyze EHS data to report performance results, communicate trends and make recommendations for health, safety and environmental performance improvements and initiatives.
• Develop standard and customized EHS dashboards and reports as requested by field and Cairo leadership teams.
• Collaborate with EHS field teams on a weekly basis to review/validate that the data is entered and accurate.
• Maintain identified tasks, on time/schedule through the end of the year.
• Prepare weekly Egypt EHS Performance Report with highlights
• Consolidate and prepare the monthly Egypt EHS Performance Report by areas reflecting trends, leading and lagging indicators and noteworthy activities/initiatives to be shared with all Apache and KPC key personnel.
• Close collaboration with your KPC counterpart to lead the full implementation of the EHS Data Management System software solution.
• Close collaboration with the EHS Training group and KPC Training group to ensure EHS Data Management System software training is developed and maintained for all applicable employees.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure complete system integration with the HRIS and enterprise asset management software solution.
• Configure the EHS Data Management System software, ensuring all applicable assets and employees are integrated for a consistent overall structure.
• Upload all consolidated audits/inspections into the EHS Data Management System software solution, troubleshoot the workflows and train applicable employees.
• Continuously follow-up on technical issues and work with field IT, EHS and Operations teams to ensure system issues are promptly updated/corrected.
• Provide overall management support to field teams for all applications with the EHS data management system.
• Maintain the EHS Data Management System software budget.
• Develop, configure and periodically review module workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Knowledge of applicable Egyptian health, safety, environment and labor laws
• Experience in multi-task environment
• Minimum 8 to 15 years’ experience (with 5 years HSE Systems experience - preferred)
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Computer proficiency in current version of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Advanced proficiency with MS-Excel
• Familiarity with EHS data management software
• High level of graphical and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with in-vehicle monitoring systems (iVMS) - ETIT

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science from accredited university

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
• Graduate Member of institution of Occupational Safety and Health (GradIOSH)
• NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety
• NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, Health and Safety Management System – IRCA Certified
• Incident command system training – ICS 320 from EMSI – Texas, USA
• Behavioral Based Safety – EHS Task Team from DuPont Sustainable Solutions
• Behavioral Based Safety – Train of Trainer from DuPont Sustainable Solutions
• BSCAT accident investigation and root cause analysis software training at DNV-GL
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA General)
