Specific Responsibilities

The Clerk Department III, for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Onshore Production Operations team at the company’s Andrews, TX office reporting to the Foreman Production. 
 
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
•    Provide administrative assistance & project support to the Manager and staff
•    Ensures arrangements for meetings and conference calls, including coordinating logistics, materials needed and scheduling with other companies and/or departments.
•    Orders and maintains departmental supplies.
•    Assists in the processing and coding of invoices.
•    Administers incoming mail and coordinates outgoing deliveries via Fed-Ex.
•    Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
•    Trouble shoot IT, printer, fax issues.
•    Manage calendars, answer phones and screen to control interruptions.
•    Anticipate needs of department; set up and revise systems as needed.
•    Communicate effectively and professionally with all departments within Apache.
•    Provide backup support to other Administrative Assistants as required.
•    Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

•    High School Diploma or equivalent is required
•    5+ years of receptionist or department administrative assistance experience is required.  Industry experience preferred.
•    Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and other PC based computer applications
•    Excellent communication and grammar skills, exhibited both in conversation and written materials 
•    Self-starter with a sense of urgency and high degree of accuracy
•    Ability to identify needs and recommend solutions that deliver value and results
