Specific Responsibilities

POSITION/JOB SUMMARY: 

The Source-to-Pay (S2P) Analyst is a part of Apache’s Global Supply Chain, Systems and Master Data Governance Team within the Strategy and Compliance department, located in Aberdeen.
This role will contribute to the development of Apache’s Supply Chain systems, tools and processes while supporting the day-to-day Ariba S2P operations and is integral to ensuring the S2P process is successful as well as promoting the use of the Ariba S2P system and processes.
This position requires an independent, self-motivated, and analytical individual who is a team player and can work with varying domestic and international stakeholders.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•    Promote the use and understanding of Source-to-Pay Systems and Processes throughout Apache North Sea business and the wider Global Supply Chain
•    Work with Apache internal and external stakeholders to support the Source-to-Pay systems
•    Monitor the Ariba Mailbox and respond to internal & external supplier requests/queries
•    Provide training and supplementary documents to support Ariba and the S2P process
•    Liaise with IT system analysts to resolve and report defects and follow through to resolution
•    Facilitate supplier onboarding of Ariba
•    Facilitate and manage integrated supplier onboarding projects
•    Provide support and cover to fellow S2P Analyst, as required
•    Support the creation of reports from Ariba and SAP for Supply Chain, as required
•    Other S2P tasks, as required


 

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

DUCATION:     

•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant Business / Technical discipline


EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:    

•    Good knowledge of ERP system such as SAP 
•    Experience with a commerce platform such as Ariba for exchange of Purchase Orders, Invoices and other documents
•    Extensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software
•    In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain systems, processes, business procedures & practices
•    Source to Pay process knowledge

DESIRABLE:

•    Supply Chain Buying process experience would be advantageous
•    Finance or Accounting background advantageous
•    Working knowledge of Ariba
•    Good understanding of Spotfire Software
