Specific Responsibilities

The Completions Technician Sr for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Completions & Workover team at the company’s Houston reporting to the Completions & Workover Sr Manager. Main focus area will be the Permian basin. 

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Track completions KPIs and support data quality for the completions team  
  • Assist drilling and completions engineers in data research, offset operator activity and compile drilling public and partner data for internal use 
  • Assist with cost estimates preparation & AFEs, collaborate with supply chain, completions and workover engineers to keep cost estimates up to date 
  • Compile and prepare daily operational updates 
  • Assist with summaries, lookbacks and presentations 
  • Collaborate with Wellview support team and frac crews, workover rigs with data quality, run audits and assist with corrections 
  • Responsible for data management (filing documents) 
  • Assist with AFE supplement justifications 
  • Support completions and workover engineers with cost accruals and outlook updates 

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred 
  • 7+ year experience in completions and/or operations 
  • Land experience in the Permian Basin preferred 
  • Expertise with Spotfire, Wellview, Power BI, and MS office tools
